B-G Contracting Ltd is a Civil Engineering contracting company located in sunny Rangiora, Christchurch. B-G Contracting was established in 1982 by Brian (Blue) Inwood and Gavin Hayton. Since this time B-G Contracting has gone from strength to strength developing reputation for high quality work all over the South Island. The foundations of B-G Contracting is built on the principles of honesty, integrity and value for money.
From 2 employees in 1982 B-G Contracting now employs over 60 employees, many of whom are specialists in their field, and the company has invested in innovations and technology, gaining recognition through providing effective specialised civil engineering solutions.
Our business is based on building long term relationships with our clients and we work together to achieve the most beneficial result for all parties involved. This is reflected by the fact that a large percentage of our workload is repeat business. We spend a considerable amount of time liaising with both the clients and their consultants to offer alternatives and suggestions to ensure that the projects run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
We offer a complete package of services including earthworks, roading, footpaths, kerbing and channelling, sewer, stormwater, common services trenching and water reticulation and construction of water and sewer pump stations. Furthermore we offer a design and build service for the package treatment of sewage for small to medium sized subdivisions. We have successfully completed a number of large contracts throughout the South Island.
