BG Contracting delivered the full civil infrastructure package for Birches Green Stages 1–5 in just 173 days, including construction of a complex pump station and installation of a 1.2km rising main to Prebbleton. Residents began moving into completed homes just 8 days after civil completion a testament to disciplined planning, program certainty, and execution excellence.

A complex pump station and 1.2km rising main to Prebbleton were delivered concurrently with the wider civil works program. Integrating this critical infrastructure into live staging required disciplined planning, technical capability, and precise coordination, all while maintaining steady program progress.

A defining challenge of Birches Green was the concurrent delivery of civil works alongside Kevler’s residential construction program. Operating in a live, multi-party environment required high level coordination, clear communication, and disciplined staging to ensure seamless progress across both programs.

Rather than introducing delays or rework, this integrated approach enhanced outcomes. By aligning civil completion with building delivery, we minimized surface damage, reduced waste, and avoided the common remedial works often associated with sequential construction. The result was a development that finished clean, efficient, and to a high quality standard, ready for immediate occupation.
